Hello! This is where I am, right here. And it doesn't seem that far away at all. I have a little office set up in the corner of my room looking out onto this...........
My new Sambag, leopard kitten heels, I bought especially for this trip, I wanted to be stylish but comfortable.
and this is where I enjoyed a delicious pot of tea this morning, perched on this ledge in a sunlit corner or my room looking out onto a lush green garden beautifully over grown with daisies.

Inside hotel
This was my outfit today. The temperatures today was 33 and man those pavements were on fire.
Luckily we came across a fresh lemonade stand...
This is Chris, Chris works for Hugo Boss,we met her here last year and came by to say hello and get her help outfitting Patrick in some new threads. Chris lives on Long Island and commutes to Soho each day. Chris loves hanging out in Central Park and eating hot dogs. Her favourite bar is the 'Frying Pan' and her favourite restaurant is the Mercer Kitchen, one of my faves too.
Cool dude....
Odd couple.....
Neon is huge....I hope I can snap up a bargain piece for summer.
Retail is all about detail, store installations makes window shopping so much fun...
Jack Spade and this is what I loved here
These romantic Ted Baker pieces look very glam and Hollywood hanging under the coloured glass display.
Don't know how glam I looked in these J Crew crop pants I really thought I was falling in love with them. What do think? Would I wear them back home?
Mercer Kitchen
Pavement art.
Vivianne Westwood heaven......
Cute.........
Very neatly made bed, didn't leave it like this, this morning..
Hotel Wallpaper
I must have been inspired by the blue wallpaper as I left the hotel today. Very St Bart's indeed!
Lacoste sneakers, Lucky Brand tops and boyfriend jeans. The cutest phone cover ever. J Crew
I hop you didn't mind all the pics. I really wanted to share my day with you.
So honestly, I really want your opinion on the J Crew pants?
See you soon!
wow, these are great shots! thanks for taking us to New York with you. enjoy!

Hello and thank you. I could snap away all day here, so many interesting things to photograph.
DeleteOh I miss NYC...thanks for the virtual trip back. The J.Crew pants are cute - would look great with a white cotton shirt perhaps?
ReplyDeleteThank you yes they are very cute. I am going back to get them before I go home. Hoping they might go on sale before I go home. I wish!
DeleteGreat NYC tour in 'real time'!, wow you managed to see and do a lot in one day. I like the pants!
ReplyDeleteHi, thanks for liking the pants. I will go back for them. It's fun taking pics of what I am doing then posting them in the afternoon.
DeleteMore! More! More! Loving experiencing an NY shopping trip vicariously through you!!! Love the Jcrew pants but I would get a size smaller and have them at just above ankle length. Wear with sandals and cute oversized tee! xx
ReplyDeleteHi Emma, I am laughing my socks off at your comment. I am really short, no crop pants ever look cropped on me, will have to alter the hem. I did have this weird conversation with the change room attendent, he told me he had a simliar body issue but his was around his middle and he went on from there about how he disguises his middle plumpness.
DeleteYour little corner of NYC in the Crosby St Hotel looks divine! I really enjoyed this post and all the photos. Keep them coming, I'm going to revisit NYC vicariously through you.
ReplyDeleteThe pants... I do really like them, but I'm not 100% sold on them. Having said that You always look so stylish so I know you could rock them!
Hi LIsa, I love this pants but as Emma said above they need to be shorter. The Crosby is very amazing, pictures of dogs everywhere, the owners love dogs, I get that, there is actualllly a dog staying in the room down the corridor. Woof.
DeleteOh you made me miss my old home.
ReplyDeleteI love all those shops and the small cobble stone streets with all the trendy people.
Those J Crew pants are saucy on ya... I would get them.
Lucky Brand tops are my favorite! It talks to my bohemian side.
The hotel is so pretty and girly.
So glad you had a great time, it is a great place to visit.
Hi Alma, Yes the cobbled stone streets are amazing but unkind to my heels. Yes, I am wearing heels around! I love Lucky Brand for the very reason that it is Boho that about sizes up my personality. This hotel is amazing, the owner's Kit and Tim Kemp designed each room and do all the art installations.
DeleteLove the photos - traveling - ahh! The pants are cool. I can't do patterned pants because ... not sure, I always feel weird in them but I love the print on these.
ReplyDeleteHi Miriam. I am almost sold on the pants! The print is Kalidescope.
DeleteLooks like you're having an amazing and very stylish time! (wish I could do stylish! *sigh* ) Can't wait for the next instalment...
ReplyDeleteAnd why can't yo do stylish! It's just a state of mind. Next time you are in Sydney you and I must have a Style date!
DeleteThankyou for sharing your trip with us Roberta. Your hotel is divine, truly. I love all those blue/white purchases at the end. Especially the phone cover.
ReplyDeleteHi, Yes the phone cover is perfect for a sailor girl like me, can't wait to take it out down at the sailing club. Hope I find something special today!
ReplyDeleteWhy, Oh why did I not pack myself in one of your suitcases??? Totally love that dress you were wearing. Not sure about the pants - given the right top they could really rock (Probably a white one?)And even though i've been fighting off getting an iphone (hubby's been trying to get me to get one ever since the iphone 3 came out!) I REALLY want one of those phone covers!!! Sigh. Bring me home some of V.W.'s wedges - maybe the yellow or the brown and white wedges. ;) lol
ReplyDeleteGuess I'll just live it vicariously. The baby's too little for me to be gadding around yet! :)
