I must admit, the most exciting aspect of the Olympic Games for me, are the outfits.....not too much sports viewing happens in this house, except for the snippets I hear at the tail end of the nightly news. When people ask me did you see the 200 metre medley, I answer yes and what's with the Russian swimming costume, and why did Stella avoid red like the plague in her volley ball ensemble, this attracts a blank stare and an instant change of topic.

'Shag Me Baby' Not. Just a glimpse of these polyester high waisted slacks, makes me cringe.

Still can't say I was a huge fan of our outfit Roberta, but I'm warming to it....and when comparing it to other teams I think our Australian Team looked pretty fine.

The team this year will be able to look back at photos of themselves and not be thinking how hideous and dated the uniform is (how I judge outfits for important events... consider how it will look in a photo in 20 - 50 years time!). xx
