Rowantree Designs "A tale of a Romper and a Vest'

Over the past eight months I have had the pleasure of reading 'Anna's Creative Corner'  a blog written by 'Anna' a passionate mother to baby Luke and a very talented and creative knitter.  Anna lives way over there in London, and Luke is very close in age to Rowan.   It has been a interesting little journey seeing pictures and reading Anna's stories of life in London and Luke's first year.  I have drooled over her quirky retro inspired hand made knitted baby garments wishing it was cold enough over here for Rowan to wear one of them.  Some weeks ago Anna blogged about a handsome moss stitch vest (the one above) and I fell head over heels, I instantly emailed Anna and asked her,
"PLEASE CAN YOU KNIT ONE FOR ROWAN,  I'LL PAY A KINGS RANSOM"
Lucky for me, Anna had been eyeing off my Rowan Romper in Nautical stripe and Anna suggested we do a swap.  I was so excited.  Thank you Anna!  This week both parcels, posted on the same day are making their  journey across vast oceans and continents to arrive safely in the post boxes of two handsome wee lads.
