Over the last couple of days I have been reading beach house blogs and what I have found so far is really boring. Lot's of the "the coastal look" beige on white, white on beige, more beige, more beige. Striped cushions, slim stripes, fat stripes all in beige of course. One blog told me "don't be afraid to add a touch of personality to your walls by adding pictures of boats, seagulls, and other nautical flavoured artworks. Yeah right! I'm going for bold, bold colour on the exterior, and placements of bold colour inside.
So how do you feel about any of these?

ReplyDeleteYour style reminds me of Chrissie Jeffries owner of No Chintz....she has a beach house on the south coast and she's never seen a bold color scheme she couldn't conquer :)
