The inspiration for my collection "Let's Play" is about those wonderful imaginary games so full of the magic that each child understands. Playing games where rules are so simple you make them up as you go, on a whim and just as long as they make sense.
Where a ding - a - ling is the start of a new day and adventure and a big loud snore initiates night fall.
The prints and color palette I used in the "Let's play" collection of oversized smocks for girls and and stand out colorful spots and paisley prints for the boys shirts bring to mind those adventurous games of cowboys and indians played in the back yard. Almost anything would be used for props. Brooms and mops becoming thunderous horses for cowboys and indians to ride into battle and a few of those beach towels would make the perfect teepees and of course the hills hoist for tying the enemy too was always good.
The "Let's Play" collection is robust in print, color, style and versatility. The Lauren and Peta smock both team well with the long sleeve tee and tights or pop them over your fave pair of denims for a chic Boho look that all the " New York, yummy mummy's" are dressing their girls in.
I really love the the boys shirts, only two color ways in this collection and they are fabulously loud and fun. I had to name these boys shirts the "fun and loud shirts"and these little men's shirts are so off the page and have proved a hit at the last Mathilda's Market in Lane Cove, Sydney.
